Zutaten
  

1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

6 large egg yolks

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 cup mascarpone cheese

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

24 ladyfinger cookies

Dark chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Extra cocoa powder (for dusting)

In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Stir until well mixed and set aside.

    In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolks and granulated sugar together until they become pale and fluffy. This should take about 5 minutes.

      Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese into the egg mixture until smooth and creamy.

        In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well blended.

          Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, making sure not to soak them (just a quick dip is enough).

            Start layering by placing a layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of a serving dish or individual cups.

              Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, smoothing it out evenly.

                Repeat the layering process with another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture on top.

                  Cover the tiramisu with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.

                    Before serving, dust the top with extra cocoa powder and garnish with dark chocolate shavings.
